I've seen some X-Files in Spanish on TV here. The dubbing for Mulder sounds surprisingly like David Duchovny.
American pop culture is definitely our major export. I swear there's more American pop music playing in restaurants, taxis, and stores here than there is in the US. We were in an Italian restaurant last night being serenaded by songs from Grease, and I heard "Gangsters in Paradise" in a taxi the other day. There's just no escaping it. Globalization officially sucks, if only because it seems I can't go anywhere in the world without hearing Peter Gabriel or Celine Dion.
